Lodge Renovation Update…….

The windows are in and roof is on the addition.

A view from the North side. Note the small upper deck where I can shout out orders to Mike!

We even have floors! One more coat of varnish to do……at a later date.

Even the lodge is starting to have a different look. Roof is being prepared for the red metal.

Carved into the beam above the entrance……a friendly reminder of where you are………..

  1. I have to agree with NewMexicam it looks outstanding.
Just hope it does not take away from that lodge type atmosphere.
Looking nice though Gord should look GREAT whe you get done.

  2. I am in sunny Southern Ontario looking at the pictures – things are looking good on the homefront. Perchmaster – just so you know – I am monitoring the airwaves and did pick up your little sauna piece – Big Sister is watching….S

Should look nice when it's done and I can picture o'l Gord sitting atop his perch from his little deck of the 2nd floor.

  4. The Lodge is looking Great!
Improvements are a real investment. I think you can get a Goverment Tax Break for this renovation.

Testimonials

On behalf of the Boyes Group, I would like to pass on our sincere thanks for hosting the Muskie Madness Week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at VBL and had a great time!! This was our 7th year on Eagle Lake and we have stayed at a few other lodges but VBL takes the cake hands down! You can definitely count us in for next year. I’m happy to see you post some of my pics, they turned out well. Thanks again Gord for a wonderful week of fishing and your stellar hospitality, you run a first class operation, we look forward to seeing you next year!
