Our 8 cabins are the original log and frame structures that started out the camp back in the 40’s as “Little Norway Camp”. With a lot of tradition and historic values built into their core we have upgraded and improved them to meet current values. The “Up North” experience is preserved with all the comforts and features that have our guests returning year after year!
We are ideally suited for small groups who want to “Fish, Relax, Unwind” away from the crowds. Our eight cabins and main lodge cater to fishermen and families alike. Close access to our sheltered docks, swimming area, and decks overlooking Eagle Lake.
The Lodge will take you back to a simpler time, with its granite fireplace, rustic log furniture, mounts of trophy walleye & record setting musky, and its welcoming & relaxed atmosphere. Check out the antique outboard motor collection or just kick back with your favourite beverage and read a book or have a game of cards. You’re always part of the family at Vermilion Bay Lodge!
One of the highlights of our week is the complimentary Sunday Night Fish Fry down at the lodge. Meet your fellow anglers, tell a few tall tales and enjoy a fabulous buffet!
If you like GREAT fishing, hospitality and affordability, Vermilion Bay Lodge is highly recommended. I have been making the trip to Vermilion Bay Lodge for the past 10 years and have never once been disappointed. If you like great walleye, northern, musky and trout fishing, this place should not be overlooked. The fishing has been excellent… no matter what time we went.
