Ice Out Report, April 29, 2018….

Progress has been made.  Here’s some photos of ice conditions today…

One thing I’ve noticed is the dramatic low water levels right now.  Check out the following picture.  Hopefully we get some rain soon to bring things up a bit.

    Hey Dustin,

    That’s ok for you wimps that come up later in the year but for us first weekers I’m not into sliding out on the ice in a canoe to get to open water. I used to do that in Michigan when I was a kid. I’m 56 years old now. I was just looking at the forecast, in Fahrenheit, and it looks like it will leave anytime this week.

    I was just thinking. How about a live webcam pointed from the lodge down toward the fire pit/beach..I would log in all year long. I will bug you about it in a couple weeks.

    The live cam from the fish house has been suggested before. That however, would prevent Gord from rigging the ice out contest.

    The ice out contest was decided back in January after al the bribes were tabulated. ‘

    You might prefer a live cam pointing at the sauna. If only I could post photos on this comment section…..
