  1. Very nice pics. One question regarding "double bubble". Is this a rig with two hooks or are the two of you simply reeling in a double?

  2. Based on the facial expressions of a few of those walleyes, I'm left wondering if he's giving it a proctology exam with his other hand?

  3. Folks…The Perchmaster's post with accompanying photos provides a fine example of the quality walleye fishing one can enjoy at VBL. The same can be said for pike. Keep in mind that Curt and Mark are knowledgeable anglers whose awareness and skill makes these guys very effective anglers. Their commitment to success on Eagle Lake (and the nearby portage lakes) consistently is rewarded with nice catches.

You want to catch fish like Curt and Mark? Then follow their footsteps. Book a trip to VBL and ask for help to become more successful. Over time, you can as well.

Answer your question Andy that was 2 lines 2 fish we both were catching at the same time.

    WOW what brought this one?
Sounds like someone can't catch fish so they have to pick on the ones that do!!!!

Thanks for the props Professor your right if you spend enough time out on the lake and try to learn from others such as Gord you will find that the Eagle Lake experiance can be a fruitful one.
Like you mentioned book a trip and find out how good it can be.
Like I said in my post over the years the fishing has gotten better reasons being is the slot size regs and the other learning new things from others.
    Glad you enjoyed the pics…

  5. Yeah…some great pictures there. Glad to hear it was a great year, but it always is…no matter what, right?

    Really enjoy the pictures!

  6. Glad you guys had a good trip. Professor is right when he mentions that a few years of experience on Eagle Lake can result in some quality fish. If you are a novice try and get as much info as you can from people at the lodge, or myself, and stick with it…..it'll happen!

  7. Thanks Dustin hated to rub it in buddy but glad you enjoyed the pics..

Gord is right you can learn alot from just sitting around the fish house or the lodge talking to other guest and learn from them.
Nobody has that many secrets that they won't share info at VBL…
