Scott's June Fishing Trip to Eagle Lake…Part 2

Big Dave, from Arizona, has never caught a fish in his life… until this Eagle Lake “monster” perch tickled his rod.   Always cautious, Dave opts to stabilize his elbow for this photo session.

Meanwhile, Craig is having a little more success.  Could it be the sombrero, or just his natural “cunning” that is putting fish on his line?

Dean, on the other hand, is relying on the Minnesota tradition of “stroking a small pike” to bring him luck.  Something reeks of desperation, I think…

At the Sunday night fish fry in the lodge, Scott struggles to get his group back on track.  Time to get to work, boys!

Will Kerry ever get his boat home without a trailer?  Why is there no photo evidence of Kerry ever being at the lodge?   Will Dave’s head explode?  Can Wade teach Steve how to hold a walleye?

This is a first class resort located on Vermillion Bay on Eagle Lake. The cabins are very clean and well kept. The boats are new with new motors and are in great shape. The owner will also clean your fish for you after your day on the water. Make no mistake the fishing on Eagle Lake is world class.

The Lodge is owned by Gord and Susanne Bastable who will make you feel welcome and before you know it you feel like family. They are the best of hosts. The atmosphere is low key and laid back leading to a great vacation.

This is my 19th year of enjoying the hospitality of the lodge and i can’t think of going anywhere else on Eagle Lake.
