Had another great August trip to VBL with good friends Steve Kohlstedt and rookie Dick Pederson. While we had a good mixed bag, it will likely be remembered as the Pike-O-Rama.
Dicks fish was the second to last fish we caught on a day with about 30 pike in the boat. Kept 10 eaters for the freezer. We like eating fish and we love to see Gord work his magic. When it comes to Gord, idle time is the devils playground.
On on anotherday I caught this nice pike.

Anyone can catch a big one. This takes skill…
There were also plenty of slot and over the slot fish that were released.
Fish with teeth, always a good thing.
