It’s Father’s Day so I hope you are kicking back with a cold beverage and a fish fry. That must mean every Sunday is Father’s Day at the lodge, since that is my summer schedule. Some interesting fishing happening this year so far. Somewhat unpredictable but mostly positive non the less. It seems the walleye fishing is coming around with more fish in the slot and over being caught the past few days. It’s still a shallow bite with colder than normal weather and water temps. My prediction is the best is yet to come! Meanwhile, back at the lodge we’ve been attracting some regular visitors…

Thank you very much for making my get a way week so enjoyable. Dan and I had a great time. You and Susanne should be commended on how clean and well maintained your cabins and lodge are. I will recommend you to anyone that is looking to go to Canada fishing and I look forward to the time I can come back.
