Dustin Kaehr September 30, 2014 at 8:36 pm Reply Looks like a great trip! I’ll see Mark in a few weeks and get all the gory details!
Teal River October 1, 2014 at 9:20 am Reply Very nice. Is it suspense keeping Vermilion Bay denizens up at night….or the trains? Walking billboard discount….Gord and I need to talk.
Charles Weiss October 2, 2014 at 9:04 am Reply Excellent fishing report! Unfortunate news about the net? How big was the ” Bull Perch” that was able to wreck the net? The ” pin- up” photo of the Joe lounging with a selection of dead fish is really inspiring. The large northern pike look very fiesty!
Gord October 2, 2014 at 7:24 pm Reply I agree Chuck…..Joe looks good lounging next to a pile of dead fish. I predict that “pin-up” photo goes viral, and soon every teen age boy will have that pinned to the top of their bunk bed…!
Gord October 2, 2014 at 7:31 pm Reply I’m inspired by Andy taking the VBL fashion scene seriously. And doesn’t he look outstanding in his salmon colored guide shirt offset by the distinctive VBL boat towel (or sauna loin cloth). His post accurately depicts that period of late September………always a challenge, but the rewards are awesome.
Professor October 10, 2014 at 11:59 am Reply It’s good to have hope. But these beautiful towels are no longer available. Sure glad the missus and I got ours before the supply was cleaned out. The good news is that you can make your own from a hand towel decorated with red and blue magic markers. Lots of VBL guests do this.
