Fish Pics…….

Here’s a few shots from the past couple of weeks. At the top “Super Ed Perkis” and a 38 or 32 inch muskie (not sure which one…he caught both). Ed was the winner of the Ice out contest this spring and made off with a camo hoodie from the VBL vault. Next, Terry Clark with a 27 inch release from the Walleye Highway (nice color coordinated shades and shirt!)….followed by young Ryan Ellinger with his biggest ever 24 inch walleye. This was a “money fish” for that day….no wonder he was smiling! Hugh Ferry with an eater (or slot?) off of the Highway, trolling Tail Dancers. Finally, a fine specimen of Eagle Lake muskie caught and released by Danny Perkis within site of camp…….43 inches of “finned fury”.

  1. Hey hey pics and nice ones at that. Im glad to see that the email worked Gord, we were a little unsure there for a bit. Many nice fish and a good time was had and it looks like we were not the only ones too.

  2. Now that is what I'm talking about.
Thanks for the picture post Gord glad to see someone in camp caught a musky!!!
Now you remember what they look like again maybe you can go out and hook one of those Eagle Lake MONSTERS that swim within the area.
Congrats Danny on that 43" release.

This is a first class resort located on Vermillion Bay on Eagle Lake. The cabins are very clean and well kept. The boats are new with new motors and are in great shape. The owner will also clean your fish for you after your day on the water. Make no mistake the fishing on Eagle Lake is world class.

The Lodge is owned by Gord and Susanne Bastable who will make you feel welcome and before you know it you feel like family. They are the best of hosts. The atmosphere is low key and laid back leading to a great vacation.

This is my 19th year of enjoying the hospitality of the lodge and i can’t think of going anywhere else on Eagle Lake.
