Opening day “Trout-o-Rama”………

Sure, it’s opening day of walleye season, but why bother with those when conditions are prime for some light tackle trout action.  Water temps at 48 degrees, overcast and a slight chop……and a couple of hours to explore the “Walleye Highway”.  Today it was a trout expressway!

There’s nothing like catching shallow lake trout on light tackle.  If you haven’t tried it make sure you pencil it in for 2013!

  2. Gord….its not penciled in. We have it in ink. See you soon. Kurt we will try to catch and release a nice one on your behalf. That might ease the pain a bit?

  3. Kurt,
We will do everything you taught us! I picked up two of the top secret “c” baits….now carried at Dorn’s hardware in Madison.
