Fall Fishing Update!

We are moving past the mid point of September and the fishing has been good. Muskies are being caught and some giants are making their presence known. Pike and walleye in good numbers and for those venturing the portage trail the trout and whitefish are still cooperative. Lake levels, while still very low, seem to be edging upwards….let’s hope this continues! Weather has been rather mild for this time of year….no frost yet and water temperatures are currently 62 degrees. We are hosting guests till October 12th this year so there will be at least one more fishing update, plus a report on Musky Madness, the first week in October.
